Spyderco Sage 1 Liner Lock Pocket Knife

The Spyderco Sage represents Spyderco's promise to make knives and learn to make better knives at every available opportunity. The strategy is to offer a continuous series of Sage knives with many of the different and ingenious devices and locking mechanisms that the knife industry has to offer.

This model is a recognition of the contribution of knife maker Michael Walker to the knife industry with his creation of the LinerLock and Ball Bearing Lock to lock and open a knife.

While the knife is manufactured in Taiwan, the flat blade is produced with CPM S30V manufactured in the USA. UU. It is combined with a laminated carbon fiber handle / G-10 and LinerLock.

Classified as a medium sized knife, the blade is flat and PlainEdged. Designed for comfort and ergonomics in the hand, the laminated carbon fiber / G-10 handle is vibrant with multi-colored fibers bonded together when carbon fiber is manufactured. The fabric is deep, creating ridges and textures so that the palm of the hand adheres while grasping and cutting. Includes a pocket wire clip for transport.
