The blade is combined with an open handle that features textured G-10 scales, nested stainless steel liners and a sturdy LinerLock mechanism.

This elite version of the Military Model takes the performance of this advanced design to new heights with a blade manufactured with the Crucible’s CPM® S110V - a state-of-the-art tool steel of the latest generation produced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process. The high volume of vanadium and niobium alloys of the CPM S110V gives it exceptional wear resistance, while its improved chrome content makes it extremely resistant to corrosion.

Like all Spyderco with CPM S110V steel, the G-10 textured handle of this version of the Military has a distinctive dark blue color.

To ensure convenient transportation and immediate access, the handle also features an hourglass clip configured for transport with the right end down.
