Spyderco Karahawk G-10 Pocket Knife

The original Spyderco Karahawk was a unique synthesis of the most outstanding features of the classic Southeast Asian karambit and the avant-garde and modern design of razors.

The spectacular Karahawk blade is ground with VG-10 stainless steel to provide an exceptional balance of strength, edge geometry and corrosion resistance. It also features the "Emerson opener" patented by Ernest Emerson, which automatically opens the knife as it is removed from the pocket.

The carefully designed blade curve ensures exceptional cutting leverage and instinctively centers the blade point on the user's grip.

It is combined with a compact handle constructed with double skeleton stainless steel liners that extend to form the structure of a reinforced karambit ring at the rear end. This ring provides exceptional grip safety and supports the use of advanced "extended" cuts and turn tactics.

The handle coverings provide structural support to the rugged Back Lock locking mechanism of the knife and are covered by black, non-slip and textured G-10 handles. They also anchor a pocket clip.

Best of all, the blade, coatings and all other metal fittings are wrapped in a low-profile, non-reflective black titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating.
