Spyderco Delica 4 TI Damascus Pocket Knife

The Spyderco Delica knife is one of the most popular Spyderco models to date. A pillar of the product line since its launch in 1990. Spyderco has decided to improve and honor Delica 4 with a premium version. The result is a knife made of Titanium and Damascus steel, an exquisite expression of the classic knife that offers the best of old-world crafts and state-of-the-art materials.

The most dramatic feature of the Ti Damascus is its impressive Damascus coated sheet. Known as D.P.S 15, the blade material is produced by Takefu Special Steel Company, LTD in Japan. It consists of a stainless steel VG-10 core sandwiched between two outer layers of Damascus steel. Each of Damascus's layers is composed of 15 layers of welded steel with forging, beautifully stamped and engraved to reveal the detail of the structure.

The finished, flat-type blade features a total of 31 layers of steel and offers an exceptional combination of strength, cutting performance and beauty.

To complement the spectacular blade of the Delica, the handle is precision machined from solid titanium 6AL-4V. This cutting-edge material is appreciated for its light weight, extreme toughness and superior strength. The titanium scales are precision machined and polished to a beautiful gray finish. They are supported by a stainless steel rear spacer and with Back Lock locking mechanism.

All components are assembled with precision stainless steel TORX screws and meticulously finished by hand.
