Spyderco Caly 3.5 Carbon Fiber ZDP 189 Pocket Knife

The Calypso is one of the classic pillars that generated numerous variations and converted legions of knife buyers to the benefits of flat and thick blade-shaped blades. This is a knife for workers based on the premise that a comfortable knife should feel like a natural extension of your hand.

The sheet-shaped sheet is made of three layers of steel. The core is Japanese ZDP-189 high carbon steel powder, the outer laminated layers are made of softer and more flexible 420J2 steel. The blade is completely flat with a PlainEdge that cuts effortlessly through the material.

It comes with a gray carbon fiber handle and a back lock in the middle position.

Great ergonomics means more control over the edge of the blade. The Caly 3.5 achieves this with a substantial finger tail located where the handle and blade meet. Create an ergonomic groove that places the index finger naturally on the bottom of the handle while placing the thumb directly on the index finger on the spine of the blade.
